Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 26, 2026
Our commitment
CT Web Solutions is committed to making ctwebsolutions.com usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe an accessible web is the right web, and we apply the same standards to every site we build for clients.
Conformance target
Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA published by the W3C. WCAG defines requirements that make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, cognitive, motor, and speech impairments.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML so screen readers can interpret page structure.
- Maintain sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements.
- Provide visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Support keyboard navigation throughout the site.
- Provide descriptive alt text for meaningful images.
- Caption or transcribe audio/video content where present.
- Test with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) and automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) as part of our build process.
- Honor the prefers-reduced-motion setting.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:
- Older blog images may lack alt text — we are auditing and remediating.
- Some embedded third-party content (Calendly scheduler, payment iframes) is controlled by external providers and may not fully meet our standards.
- Decorative animations on the home page have a reduced-motion fallback but may still cause discomfort to some users — please contact us if you need a static version.
We are working on these issues and welcome any others you find.
Assessment methods
We assess accessibility through:
- Self-evaluation using axe DevTools, WAVE, and Lighthouse.
- Manual keyboard navigation and screen reader testing.
- Code review against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria.
- Feedback from users who report barriers.
Report a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our site, please tell us and we will work to address it promptly. When you contact us, please include:
- The page URL where you encountered the barrier.
- A description of the problem.
- The browser, operating system, and assistive technology (if any) you were using.
- Your preferred contact method.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and to resolve confirmed issues within 30 days when feasible.
